Mrs. Fixit: Vinyl Lettering

July 19, 2009

First step, make sure that your wall is clean and free of any dust or grease.

Then map out where on your wall you want the lettering. Make sure that you have a level or a laser level on hand so you're sure your mural is straight.

Once you're happy with the location, remove the protective covering from the letters and carefully place the mural on the wall. Tape it in place with some low tack painter's tape.

Use the little credit card type tool to smooth the letters onto the wall.

Make sure that you work in long, smooth strokes with even pressure.

Once you're sure you've transferred all of the lettering, carefully and slowly peel off the paper backing.

Look at that, a beautiful wall mural for under twenty dollars, love it! I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple.
