Suspect sought in Roxborough bank robbery

Police are looking for the man who robbed a St. Edmonds Bank in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia.It happened in the 5800 block of Ridge Ave. around 10:00 a.m.

Police say the robber handed a teller a demand note, then fled with $4,700. He left in a silver vehicle, possibly a Chrysler or a Ford Focus driven by another person.

The robber is described as a black male age 23-27 years old, dark complexion, thin build, with a goatee. He was said to be wearing a black Rocawear hat, sunglasses, a long sleeve button down navy blue shirt, blue jeans and black Addidas sneakers.

No one was injured during the incident.
