PHILADELPHIA - August 23, 2009 The first wave of more than 4,000 Guard members will arrive
Tuesday at Fort Dix, N.J., after more than six months of combat
operations north of Baghdad.
The 300 soldiers are part of the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat
Team. It's headquartered in northeast Philadelphia but includes
soldiers from across the state.
The military says the brigade has completed more than $22
million in projects to help rebuild communities north of Baghdad.
