Phila. Orchestra to honor police officers

PHILADELPHIA - August 25, 2009 The concert takes place Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 6:00 PM at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts.

Philadelphia Orchestra Associate Conductor Rossen Milanov conducts the concert, which will include inspirational and patriotic works by Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, Edward Elgar, John Williams, Samuel Ward, Irving Berlin, and John Philip Sousa.

The concert is free, with a suggested donation of $20.00. A general admission ticket voucher, good for up to four people, is required for entry to the concert. For vouchers and further information please visit www.philorch.org/fallenheroestribute.

Proceeds from sponsorships and donations from the Fallen Heroes Tribute Concert will benefit the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Survivors' Fund.
