Shortly after noon on Monday police were called to the 3000 block of Orchard Road in the community of Marshallton Heights for a welfare check.
William Rowe had not shown up for work, and a friend had gone to his apartment to check on him. When that person arrived they found the front door open and no one answered calls inside.
Police responded to the residence and found the Rowes dead inside.
Authorities say both suffered gunshot wounds to the head.
