Flyers GM: Gagne should be fine for camp in Sept.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - August 26, 2009 Gagne injured his groin practicing with Team Canada and returned to Philadelphia to be examined by team doctor Peter DeLuca. Holmgren says Gagne received an injection and can return to the ice in two weeks, in time for the start of training camp on Sept. 12.

The left wing was third on the team with 74 points last season and scored 34 goals, good for second on the team behind Jeff Carter.

Gagne had hip surgery to remove a bone spur and adhesions in May.
