Toxicology results show an "American Idol" hopeful whose angry rejection rant became an Internet sensation was drinking before she was struck and killed in New Jersey.

Ocean County prosecutors say that will not affect charges against the suspected drunken driver accused of hitting Alexis Cohen.

Officials say Cohen had alcohol in her system and the 25-year-old Allentown, Pa., resident was not under the influence of narcotics as she walked in Seaside Heights around 4 a.m. on July 25.

Daniel Bark is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident while eluding police, aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide and driving while intoxicated.

Police say Bark was fleeing police on bicycles after hitting a parked car when they say he struck Cohen. She had performed during "American Idol's" seventh season.
