Delaware Air National Guard members are deploying to various bases to help care for fellow troops wounded in the line of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Five members of the 142nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron left for two Southwest Asian bases Wednesday, and seven others will leave for Germany next week.

Seven more airmen will head to Germany and one will head to California's Travis Air Force Base later this month.

Each mission will last from two to four months. These deployments are the latest in a series that started in May and is scheduled to continue through February.
