WILMINGTON, Del. - September 15, 2009

The robbery happened at approximately 5:00 a.m. on the morning of August 26, 2009 at the Hess gas station, located in the 200 block of South Market Street.

A 24-year-old Wilmington woman told police that as she arrived for work she parked her car in the rear of the building. She exited the vehicle to unlock the back door and that's when she says she was approached by a masked man carrying a knife.

The suspect led the woman inside and forced her to open the cash register. The man grabbed the cash inside the register.

A second suspect then came into the building and attempted to open the safe, but was unsuccessful.

The suspects took the keys to the woman's blue 1994 Saturn SL, which has since been recovered.

The woman was uninjured during the robbery.
