SWAT searches for E. Mt. Airy shooting suspect

The gunman in a shooting Friday morning in Philadelphia's East Mount Airy section remains on the loose. RELATED SLIDESHOW: SWAT members search for the suspect

It happened in the 800 block of Stafford Street.

Police say a man was wounded after the van he was in was hit by gunfire.

That person was taken to Germantown Hospital then transferred to Einstein. He was last reported in critical condition.

Police say the suspect and the victim know each other, and the motive may be some kind of family dispute.

Investigators got tips that the suspect was in a home in the Stafford Street area. However, police searched the area and the suspect was not found.
