It happened along the 2800 Willits Street just past midnight.
At least five homes are without water pressure and residents say some houses have about 3-4 feet of water inside.
The fire department evacuated 2 of the houses as a safety precaution because the sidewalks were compromised.
Utilities crews are on the scene trying to restore water and electricity to the affected homes.
