An eight-inch water main break flooded homes in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia overnight.

It happened along the 2800 Willits Street just past midnight.

At least five homes are without water pressure and residents say some houses have about 3-4 feet of water inside.

The fire department evacuated 2 of the houses as a safety precaution because the sidewalks were compromised.

Utilities crews are on the scene trying to restore water and electricity to the affected homes.
