Barbra Streisand beats out Paramore and Mariah Carey
LOS ANGELES (AP) - October 8, 2009
Streisand's "Love is the Answer" hit number one on the Billboard
album chart its first week out. It sold 180,415 copies, according
to SoundScan. It's Streisand's ninth number-one album. She's also
the first artist to have a number-one album in five consecutive
decades.
