Woman guilty of manslaughter in father's death

NORRISTOWN, Pa. - November 23, 2009

Christina Rubin was convicted Monday of voluntary manslaughter in the death of 46-year-old Marc Rubin, whose body was found in the Pine Barrens in New Jersey in December. His body was left to decompose in his apartment for more than a week before it was dumped.

Christina Rubin's attorney, Martin Mullaney, says his client asked her boyfriend to kill her father because he was abusive. Twenty-year-old Jeffrey Leinheiser was also found guilty of third-degree murder on Monday.

Defense attorneys say Christina Rubin suffered years of mental, physical and sexual abuse at the hands of her father.
