It happened just after 11:00 p.m. Saturday at Castor and Hunting Park Avenues.
Police say two men, reportedly wearing masks, shot an 18-year-old man. Initial reports had indicated the victim was shot in the chest. As it turns out, he instead sustained a gunshot wound to his hand.
The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Police are investigating.
