It happened about 1:00 a.m. on the 6400 block of Frankford Avenue in the Mayfair section of the city.
Investigators say the 15th Police District cruiser was on a routine patrol when it turned and hit the oncoming car.
Officials say no one was seriously injured.
Investigators are trying to determine what exactly led to the accident.
