Frances Gordon, 85, was struck and killed on November 30th on Church Road near Old York Road in Elkins Park. She had just left the library.
On Monday, police released pictures of a van similar to the one they're looking for. They've determined the vehicle that struck her was a plain white cargo van, possibly a Ford, with tinted rear windows. The van may have minor front end damage to the driver's side front grill.
The suspect is described as a tall white man, 45-55 years old. He had a thin build, clean shaven, with short white or gray receding hair. He was last seen wearing jeans and a sweatshirt.
Police say after hitting Gordon, the driver stopped, got out of his van, looked around, then fled eastbound on Church Road.
