It happened around 11:20 a.m. on Route 56 near Landis Road.
The trooper was not on duty, but was instead driving his person minivan when the accident happened.
His minivan collided with an SUV.
The trooper was taken to Cooper University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Two other people in the SUV suffered minor injuries.
