About 100 kids from Stern and Webster elementary schools attended the event.
Cookie Monster was mingling, Dora the Explorer was dancing, there were balloon makers and face painters and so much singing!
Still they soon got impatient for the big guy in the red suit.
After a few hugs, one by one they made their way to Santa's lap to reveal their Christmas lists.
"The 1500 people in our building here at the Mid-Atlantic Social Security Center took those lists and volunteered to make this a very special day and a very special season for these children," said spokeswoman Mae J. Novak.
The kids received their gifts on the spot.
"As an employee in this building it just makes you feel good, you can give back to so many children," said Roxanne Williamson.
