NEW YORK -December 16, 2011 The two are among ahalf dozen people to be named to the honor, which will be given out
early next year. Among the others named to receive the Honors
include Maya Angelou, Spike Lee and the Tuskegee Airmen.
BET says
the event will be hosted by talented actress Gabrielle Union - and
that it will take place at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. -
though no date has been set. Previous recipients of the BET honors
include Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah and Cicely Tyson.
