Twenty-four-year-old Erick Morton has been charged with trafficking in Ecstasy and other offenses. He is being held in lieu of $42,500 secured bail.
Troopers stopped Morton's car on South Dupont Highway. Authorities say they found 40 Ecstasy pills in four plastic bags, plus Endocet and Xanax pills. Morton did not have a prescription for the drugs.
