More than 8,000 guests are expected to vote for their favorite pizza vendors and enjoy musical entertainment and children's activities. Also, a media and corporate challenge pizza bake-off will be featured.
Funds raised from the event benefit the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce and the Sylvania Area Joint Recreation District.
Pizza vendors will be vying for the best Pizza Restaurant in Northwest Ohio. The pizza restaurants expected to be a part of the Pizza Palooza are Aimee's Pizza, Andrew Z Pizzeria, Bennett's Pizza, Charlie's Pizza, Jets Pizza, Jo Jo's Pizza, Marco's Pizza, Padrone's Pizza, Rosie's Pizza, The Original Gino's Pizza and Vito's Pizza,.
Entertainment will include "The Danger Brothers" on Friday, July 23 and on July 24 the Warner Brothers rockers "The Undeserving" will take the stage in their northwest Ohio debut. Their first single "Something to Hope For" is featured on the promotion campaign for American Idol.
Tickets will be priced at $5 for adults and free for children under 5 and will be available at Metamora State Bank in Sylvania and KeyBank in Sylvania and surrounding areas.
