Einstein is a big deal in the world of little horses.

The pinto stallion could set a new world record for a lightweight foal.

Einstein weighed just 6 pounds and measured 14 inches in height when he was born Friday in Barnstead, New Hampshire.

That's teeny -- even for a miniature breed like Einstein's.

Dr. Rachel Wagner, Einstein's co-owner, says the Guinness record for the smallest newborn horse is 9 pounds.

Wagner notes Einstein shows no signs of dwarfism, unlike the current record holder.
