She says the suspect, 53-year-old Reginald McNeill, forced his way into her vehicle. After a brief struggle, the suspect was able to gain control of her.
She says the man demanded money and drove her to Philadelphia. After another struggle, she was able to free herself from the car and the suspect ran away.
She called police and was taken to the hospital and treated and released for minor injuries.
McNeill is a convicted sex offender who was freed from prison in March 2009 after serving 27 years for rape and robbery.
Police arrested McNeill Tuesday night in Philadelphia.
