Postal inspectors were suspicious of a package addressed to "Grandma Henderson" in Talladega, Alabama, from "Grandpa Henderson" in San Diego.
The inspectors called in the county drug task force.
Authorities say a drug-sniffing dog confirmed their suspicions.
The officers waited for someone to pickup grandma's package.
Task force commander Jason Murray says three men came for the parcel and were stopped after leaving.
Authorities say that package to "Grandma" had more than six pounds of pot inside.
The three men are now charged with trafficking.
