The accident happened just before 9:30 a.m. Sunday on the 3200 block of South 61st Street.
Police say a car traveling southbound crossed over the double yellow lines and hit a northbound SUV head on. The SUV then overturned.
The driver of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other passengers in the car.
Police are investigating.
