The team announced that a Pepsi Refresh Grant will pay for a full-sized natural grass soccer field.
The Union partnered with various city groups to form Chester City United, a soccer organization that serves more than 300 children.
The team says now the kids will have a home field to call their own.
The Union take on Chivas USA at PPL Park in Chester this coming Saturday.
