NORTH PHILADELPHIA - October 13, 2010 --
An 8-year-old girl was seriously burned as flames engulfed a home in North Philadelphia. Fire crews responded to the scene on the 3000 block of North Reese Street just before 2:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The girl suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to her head and arms.
She's in the hospital in stable condition.
The fire was brought under control in less than 20 minutes.
There is no word yet on how this fire started.
