About 12 students headed to various private schools were on the bus from Atlantic Express.
Seven of the students were transported to Childrens Hosptial of Pennsylvania as a precaution. Six of the 7 suffered minor injuries. The 7th student was a sibling of a student who went for treatment.
The accident happened at 63rd & Lebanon just before 7:45 a.m. The bus struck a parked pickup truck which rolled into another parked car.
Philadelphia police are investigating the cause of the crash.
Some students on the bus tell Action News that the driver seemed to be looking up at his mirror rather than the road when he crashed into a parked pickup truck, which then smashed into a small sedan.
