The crash happened in the southbound lanes near the Philadelphia suburb of Quakertown shortly before 6:30 a.m. Friday.
Turnpike spokesman Carl DeFebo says two injured people have been flown to hospitals and at least one has been taken away by ambulance. It's not clear how serious the injuries are.
DeFebo says the lanes reopened by about 10:30 a.m.
