The robberies occurred on Thursday November 11, 2010 at approximately 6:56 p.m. in the Glasgow Court Trailer Park and in the community of Sparrow Run.
Police responded to the 300 block of Kyle Street for a report of an armed robbery, and upon their arrival, officers spoke with the 30-year-old male victim. He explained that he was entering his car on his way to work when he was confronted by two black males. The men grabbed the victim and held a gun to his head as they went through his pockets. The suspects took the man's iPod and then fled on foot toward Sparrow Run.
The victim told police that the same men robbed him at the same location three weeks prior.
While searching for the suspects in the area of Sparrow Run, a second robbery victim approached the officers. He indicated the same two men had just robbed him.
The 34-year-old victim told police he was outside of his home on W. Plover Drive when two men approached him. The subjects, wielding a handgun, stole the victim's iPod and cash. The victim chased the subjects until one stopped and fired a single gunshot at him in the area of Kemper Drive.
The victim was not injured. He said he then returned to his car to continue searching for the suspects.
A police canine searched the area and tracked the scent of the suspects from one robbery location to the exact location of the other robbery.
The suspects are both said to be black males. One of which was described as being approximately 24 years of age, 5'9", 185 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. The other suspect is said to have a similar build but had his face concealed at the time of the robberies.
