Paul Marshall's Volkswagen Beetle was stolen with his dog, Beo, inside.
Marshall admits he goofed when the left the car running while he returned a video.
Two days later, the dog and car were found less than a mile from Marshall's house.
The suspect apparently ran out of gas.
Marshall tells the Mail Tribune he's very happy to have his dog home.
