SUV damaged in crash with Phila. fire truck

Chopper 6 HD was over the scene of a crash involving a fire truck in Northeast Philadelphia.

A fire truck and an SUV were involved in a crash on Monday morning in Northeast Philadelphia.

The crash happened shortly after 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Roosevelt Blvd. and Harbison Avenue.

According to fire officials, the fire truck was responding to a call on Vandike Street when the collision occurred.

One civilian received minor injuries and four firefighters were transported to Jeanes Hospital for observation as a result of the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.

The northbound lanes of the Boulevard remain closed at Harbison Avenue.
