Vehicle ID'd in Camden Co. hit-and-run

Police are looking for the driver that struck a pedestrian and fled the scene in Camden County.

The victim, only identified as a female, was struck at the intersection of Erial Road and Garwood Road in Gloucester Township around 8:09 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the victim was conscious and speaking with first responders at the scene, and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The car that hit her is described as a 1997-2002 Ford Escort, 4 door, possibly dark in color. The vehicle possibly has front, driver side damage. The vehicle is missing the driver side mirror housing unit, which is black in color. The mirror itself may still be attached to the vehicle.
