State police say Michael Bunting of Frankford met the Sussex County teen while they showed animals at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington and sent her text messages on Thursday and Friday suggesting they meet and engage in sexual acts.
Police say Bunting struck up a conversation with a 16-year-old girl from Lisbon, Ohio, who was visiting the fair with family friends on Friday. As he spoke with her, police say he touched the girl's chest.
Bunting is charged with sexual solicitation of a child under 18, second-degree unlawful sexual contact and harassment. He is being held on $15,100 cash bond.
