The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday on Center Road near Faulkland Road in Elsmere.
Police say the driver was traveling north on Center Road when his truck caught fire. The driver was able to pull over to safety.
No injuries were reported.
It took about a half hour for crews to put out the fire.
Police are investigating.
