Through Oct. 16, 2011, you can take advantage of $50 spa treatments that local spas are offering as part of Spa Week.
For example, at Lux Spa and Fitness at the Omni Hotel, clients can choose from several Spa Week specials, for $50 each, which is about 50% off the regular price, as spa owner Tiffany Bucciarelli explains.
"We're offering our Aveda Shakra massage. We're offering our Lux combination massage. Both of them are 50-minute services. And we're offering our Aveda custom facial, which is a 50-minute facial."
A quick check of the Spa Week website shows other area spas offering manicures and pedicures, chemical peels and even teeth-whitening, all for $50 each.
The hope is that once you experience these treatments, you'll be back for more.
Bucciarelli explains, "Spa-ing should be part of your regular lifestyle. Massages help you decrease your stress. Facials help you maintain your skincare, so the opporutnity to get in at this discounted price will help you understand these services and the value of getting them on a regular basis."
