Police in Pittsburgh report a woman looking for something to read found a gun in a magazine rack.
Police took the pistol and reviewed surveillance video.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports police busted Tyrone Burse.
Authorities say he told them he hid the gun before going into the sheriff's office at the courthouse.
Burse was looking to get a license to carry a concealed weapon.
Burse now faces a number of charges including carrying a firearm without a license and pot possession.
