The utility says crews from as far away as Wisconsin and Mississippi finished reconnecting less than 400 remaining homes and businesses by midnight.

JCP&L says it was the largest storm restoration effort in the company's history.
More than 300,000 of the utility's 1.1 million customers lost service during the storm.
Crews will remain on the job to make permanent any temporary repairs.
