Thanksgiving costs more this year, go figure

You won't be alone.

The triple-A forecasts a four percent increase in people traveling at least 50 miles from home.

That's compared to last year.

And we'll be spending more, too.

Thanksgiving airfares are expected to be 20 percent higher.

Gas prices are also up.

The triple-A says in Virginia alone, gasoline costs 52 cents more per gallon than last Thanksgiving.
