The shooting took place shortly before 6:00 p.m. at the Greens II Apartment Complex along the 200 block of Blackwood-Clementon Road.
Police say someone opened fire in the parking lot, striking a 19-year-old male twice.
The teen managed to run a short distance before collapsing outside another building.
He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are said to be very serious, but he is expected to survive.
Police and the county prosecutor responded to the scene and are investigating.
