Police were dispatched to 48 North Broadway, at 10:21 Monday morning. Upon arrival they found a vehicle had run through a wall and into the waiting room area of the Mazzuca Eye & Laser Center doctor's office, located in a small office complex.
The 80-year-old woman behind the wheel of the 2011 Buick Lacrosse was reportedly arriving for an appointment and parking when she became confused and stepped on the gas instead of the brake.
There is significant structural damage to the building, but luckily no injuries.
Police say charges are pending.
