Police investigate shooting in Germantown

PHILADELPHIA - December 21, 2011 It happened on Windrim Avenue and near Wingohocking around 7:00pm Wednesday night outside of a shopping plaza.

Police responded to a report of a man shot and found a 21-year old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his buttocks and right leg.

He was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center with unstable vital signs.

Police believe the man may have been shot nearby and managed to run to where he was discovered before collapsing.

There is no word on a motive or suspect in the shooting.
