Police say say it was around 4:53 Monday morning when they were notified that the Marshalls store, located on the 2000 block of S Swanson Street had been robbed at gunpoint.
The store's manager tells police that two masked gunmen grabbed a male employee while he was taking out the trash and forced him back into the store and forced him to lay down. The suspects then held all four employees at gunpoint and forced the manager to open the safe.
The men then locked the employees in a break room and then fled.
Police say the men took approximately $35-40,000 in the robbery.
The only description of the suspects available described them as light skinned black males, standing about 6' to 6'2", wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves.
Shoppers arrived at Marshalls Monday morning to do some last minute shopping only to find the discount store closed.
