It happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. Monday evening, on the 9900 block of Bustleton Avenue.
The unidentified woman was struck and medics rushed the victim to Aria-Hospital, Torresdale Division.
Police say the woman is expected to survive her injuries.
The driver behind the wheel fled the scene.
Authorities were unable to get a description of the vehicle or the driver.
