It happened just before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday outside a bank in the 3000 block of Shillington Road in Spring Township.
Police say someone opened fire on a man in the bank's parking lot, then fled the scene.
The victim was rushed to Reading Hospital. No word yet on his condition.
Police are looking for a man who fled the scene after the shooting.
