Investigators say a weekend motorcycle crash that killed a 26-year-old Pennsylvania man is now being investigated as a hit-and-run homicide.

Authorities said Wednesday that Michael Orsini was struck by an unknown vehicle while riding his motorcycle late Sunday in East Brandywine Township, Chester County.

Orsini was airlifted to a hospital and pronounced brain dead a few hours after the crash, then removed from life support.

District Attorney Thomas Hogan called on the driver involved to come forward immediately.
