A high school teacher stands accused of asking one of his students for naked pictures of herself in exchange for a better grade.

The Lehigh County District Attorney's Office says Timothy Moll was working as a teacher at Dieruff High School in Allentown when he sent text messages to the 16-year-old girl, asking for the naked photos.

Moll, 25, of Emmaus, Lehigh Co., allegedly promised the student extra points toward her grade if she complied with his requests.

The D.A. said this came to light in late January after the student got in trouble for texting in class. When she was sent to the assistant principal's office, officials were told of the alleged incident.

The district said Moll has been suspended from his job without pay.

He was charged with one count each of corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor and freed on $20,000 bail.

He's due back in court for a preliminary hearing on April 13.
