Police: School worker stole $400k in auto supplies

BENSALEM, Pa. - August 21, 2012

Frederick Lange, 68, of Croydon, was arrested on Monday following an ongoing investigation into the theft and sale of school district property, Bensalem Police said.

According to investigators Lange, the lead mechanic and shop foreman at the bus garage, stole truck tires, truck batteries and other automobile accessories over a period of more than 10 years.

Lange was arraigned on theft and related charges and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $200,000 bail.
