And those are just a few of the amazing deals on designer clothing at the Community Clothes Charity sale that opens to the public at the Eagle Village Shops in Wayne, Pa.
The annual sale of gently used designer clothes, organized by Main Line ladies to raise money for charity, opens at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Julie Jensen Bryan, a member of the CCC Board, explains. "A number of the people on the committee often give a number of the nice items. We have donors who give every year."
Admission Wednesday is $5. After that, it's free. And whatever's left on Friday and Saturday will go for half-price.
That includes items like a beaded Adolfo dress - now priced at $100 and a Castleberry knit suit, that's only $28.
This year, the sale features an expanded accessory department and a lot more new items --including prom and ball gowns -- than in years past.
Jensen Bryan adds, "We got a lot this year from stores. A number of retail places gave us new things. We have a lot more new things this year that we're featuring especially this year in our back space in our tent."
The beneficiaries of this year's sale are New Directions for Women, The Young Scholars Frederick Douglas Charter School and Puppies behind Bars.
